The Arizona Cardinals sit at 3-11 and now must face the Los Angeles Rams at home this weekend, a team who has struggled some recently and needs a win to get back on track.

The Rams are not only favored to win the game, they open as heavy favorites. They are favored by nearly two touchdowns to open the week.

It is understandable. The Rams have a top offense. The Cardinals have given up 40 points or more three times this season. The Rams shut the Cardinals out in Week 2 34-0 and have outscored the Cardinals in three consecutive wins 99-16.

Depending on the Cardinals’ health and how the money comes in for wagers, this line could push toward 17 points, which is almost unheard of in the NFL.

It just underscores how bad the Cardinals are from a gambling perspective.
