Ep. 2019:52 – Tour Around League talks Browns, L.A. Rams WR Alex Bachman visits – ClutchPoints

Derek Ciapala continues the 2019 Tour Around the League with the USA Today Brown Wire’s Jeff Risdon, who breaks down the now former train-wreck Cleveland Browns. Later, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Alex Bachman talks about playing football at Wake Forest, which players impacted him during OTAs, and what it’s like playing for head coach Sean McVay.

Derek kicks off the episode with the new that running back Todd Gurley is on his own offseason conditioning program per ESPN’s Lindsey Thiry. The team gave no explanation of why Gurley is on a separate program. Speculation remains over whether or not his knee currently suffers from arthritis or a degenerative condition.

The second segment opens with the Browns Wire’s Jeff Risdon. He explains why Hue Jackson failed in Cleveland and what makes Freddy Kitchens different. Risdon also discusses what makes Baker Mayfield special and what he expects from him in the future.

He breaks down the Browns’ moves in free agency, including the Odell Beckham Jr. trade. Will the Browns keep him happy long-term? What about the rest of the roster? Can the Browns win the AFC North? What about that big Week 3 matchup with the Rams? Risdon analyzes everything Browns for the 2019 offseason.

Finally, Derek welcomes Rams wide receiver Alex Bachman to the show. Bachman explains what it means for the Rams to give him this opportunity. He also examines his strengths and weaknesses and what he wants fans to know about him. Finally, Bachman shows his personal side with a look at his favorite movies, food and hobbies. He ends the interview by discussing Sean McVay and what he brings to the Rams.
