Jacksonville Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey calls Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff “average to above average” – Turf Show Times

Whew. If you’ve ever thought Jacksonville Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey was open, think again, because he’s more than that.

The superstar cornerback sounded off naming essentially every quarterback in the NFL, and sharing his truthful opinions on whether they “are good”, or “trash”.

This is what he had to say about Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff:

Jared Goff, he’s average to above average. He reminds me of Jimmy Garoppolo a little bit. Year one, he wasn’t good. He wasn’t even good enough to earn his own starting role. Like, if you the number one pick, you expected to start now. Period. He wasn’t ready to do that. He wasn’t able to do that. Then when he did get in, he didn’t really do that good. But in his second year, they got a new offensive coordinator. Your offensive coordinator is just your brainiac. When we played them, it felt like his offensive coordinator was drawing up perfect plays and then he was hitting the open man. For what his team ask him to do, yeah, he’s good.

I mean, that wasn’t so bad considering what Ramsey said about other QB’s, such as Buffalo Bills rookie QB Josh Allen who he referred to as “trash”.

All in all, I think it’s a relatively fair way to describe the situation around Goff. He’s still hardly played in the league making it hard to tell who he really is and what his potential is. Regardless of what Head Coach Sean McVay may or may not be able to do, Goff is the trigger man playing arguably the hardest position in sports.

Often times we knock players for hiding behind anonymous sources, so the truth is quite refreshing when seen from an eccentric player such as Ramsey.
