LA Rams at Chicago Bears: 2nd down, second guessing – Turf Show Times

To say the Los Angeles Rams played poorly and not quite up expectations against the Chicago Bears is an understatement.

Honesty is the best policy. So no matter what Rams players and coaches are telling their fans, anyone who watched this game came away knowing the Rams were garbage on Sunday night losing to the Bears 15-6.

That’s not a typo—the boy genius, offensive guru head coach of the Rams was able to guide the offense to a whopping six points and exactly 0 touchdowns. His playcalling and mismanagement of the clock was equally matched by QB Jared Goff whose execution of the misconstrued gameplan led to 4 interceptions.

Despite the Rams’ defense holding the Bears to just 15 points. Chicago neutralized DT Aaron Donald with double- and triple-teams which allowed defensive tackles Michael Brockers and Ndamukong Suh along with linebacker Mark Barron to show off some poor tackling skills as the Rams’ defense gave up 194 yards rushing on 35 attempts for a 5.5 yards per carry average.

It wasn’t the cold.

It wasn’t the playcalling.

It wasn’t the lack of a run game with RB Todd Gurley.

It wasn’t a terrible performance by QB Goff.

It wasn’t the lousy run defense.

It wasn’t missing a field goal. It wasn’t bad clock management.

It wasn’t the terrible performance of the Rams offensive line.

IT WAS ALL THAT AND MORE.

But there was some good. Thankfully, the game ended and spared me further torture.

There’s no way getting around it—the Rams, offense, defense and special teams stunk it up against the Monster’s of the Midway.

I’m done crying and bellyaching over this game.

Final Grade: F
