LA Rams CB Dominique Hatfield, RB Malcolm Brown head to injured reserve – Turf Show Times

Not only did the Los Angeles Rams lose the game on Sunday Night Football, they lost a special teams player. CB Dominique Hatfield will be placed on injured reserve due to an ankle injury that got him carted off in the game. Also, RB Malcolm Brown will head to I.R. with Hatfield:

Brown injured his shoulder in week 13 against the Detroit Lions, though it was just now decided that placing him on injured reserve was the best option.

To replace the injured Brown, the Rams promoted OLB Trevon Young who has spent time both on the active 53-man roster as well as the practice squad. Young even received some playing time early in the season when the Rams had injury issues at outside linebacker.

The backup running back group will consist of RB’s Justin Davis and John Kelly, neither of which were a factor in the most recent game in week 14.
