LA Rams super fan in Norwalk wins Super Bowl tickets – FOX 11 Los Angeles

– Danny Enriquez had the words “Superbowl Bound” sewn onto the back of his LA Rams jersey way before the team earned its way to the game.

The super fan said he knew it would happen.

Now, Enriquez and his friend Julio Mancilla, who holds season tickets, are going to the big game and he will wear his jersey as a good luck charm.

During the send-off pep rally at the future Rams stadium in Inglewood, the team called Enriquez onto the stage and presented him with two free tickets to the Super Bowl this Sunday in Atlanta.

“I was speechless. And normally I talk a lot!” Enriquez said.

For Enriquez, the prize tickets came at the perfect time. At the end of 2018, he got in a car accident while working.

“I said, ‘you know what, I’m glad that this year ended and I’m still alive. 2019 is going to be better’.”

He and his buddies still attended all but one home game. Wearing bits and pieces of all this team gear spread out in Mancilla’s living room. They said if the Rams could push through home games they could show up to cheer them on.

“They’re playing at Coliseum and in the background you see the fires right behind them. For them to even show up it means a lot and that made me want to show up too you know?” said Mancilla.

Now the team is giving back to its loyal fans.

“We’re going to get it, we’re going to win it, we’re going to come back with a trophy,” Mancilla said.

Enrique and Mancilla gathered up enough money to book their flights and hotel. They said the total was $3,000 and totally worth it.

“It’s a once in a lifetime thing. I’m never going to get to do this again,” said Mancilla.
