Los Angeles Rams place CB Kevin Peterson on IR to miss 2018 season with knee injury, sign Columbia DT Lord … – Turf Show Times

Los Angeles Rams CB Kevin Peterson has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a season ending knee injury in the Rams’ first preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. It’s a tough break for Peterson, who had enjoyed a solid training camp thus far.

The Rams used the open roster spot, to sign former Columbia University defensive tackle Lord Hyeamang. At 6’4, 285 pounds, the athletic Hyeamang may be best suited to slide out and play some five technique in the Rams scheme.

Raised in Minnesota, Hyeamang didn’t play football until the eighth grade. He was also a wrestler.

Hyeamang was waived by the Seattle Seahawks on August 6 after being signed as an undrafted free agent. Prior to that, the former All-Ivy League star had also been signed and waived by the New York Jets.

Hopefully the Rams just scooped up the greatest Columbia Lion since Marcellus Wiley.

Here are some cool clips of Lord busting up some Ivy Leaguers.
