Rams running away with NFC West through 7 weeks – Cards Wire

The NFC West appears to already have been decided and it is only Week 8. The Los Angeles Rams are going to have to have a colossal collapse in the second half of the season to not win the division.

Here is what the standings now look like in the West,

L.A. Rams, 7-0
Seattle Seahawks, 3-3
Arizona Cardinals, 1-6
San Francisco 49ers, 1-6

The Rams are the only undefeated team left in the league. Seattle had their bye week in Week 7. In fact, The Rams have more wins than the rest of the division combined. The Cardinals and 49ers are among the league’s worst teams.

Arizona is not in last place in the division because their one win came against the 49ers, giving them a head-to-head tie-breaking advantage.

The two teams face each other again in Week 8, determining through half the season who the worst team really is.

That is not how either team anticipated the seasons going this year.
