Report: LA Rams QB coach Zac Taylor favorite to land HC with Bengals – Turf Show Times

As if the Los Angeles Rams’ coaching staff hasn’t been poached enough in the past two seasons, here goes another round, per Matt Miller of Bleacher Report:

The Cincinnati Bengals have now identified a favorite for their head coaching vacancy, and that coach happens to be the Rams’ QB Coach, Zac Taylor.

Taylor is a 35-year old former NFL player who’s spent time coaching with the Miami Dolphins, the Cincinnati Bengals, and currently the Rams. Taylor has interviewed for head coaching positions this year (Arizona Cardinals).

The Sean McVay coaching tree has a chance to sprout another branch, as the first branch came recently when the Green Bay Packers hired former Rams Offensive Coordinator Matt LaFleur as their HC. Both tight end coach and Passing Game Coordinator Shane Waldron and Taylor have interviewed for HC positions this past week.

The Rams are equipped to handle these losses to the coaching staff as McVay continues to produce quality coaches and results.
