August 2
Practice begins at 3:00pm PT
Autographs: Linebackers, special teams
It’s getting real, now.
The Baltimore Ravens will play the Chicago Bears to open the 2018 NFL Preseason in tonight’s Hall of Fame Game. With actual on-field action, things should be cranking up around the league.
And perhaps that’s exactly what we’ll see at camp for the Los Angeles Rams today with tomorrow’s day off. The Rams’ next practice will be on Sunday after today and then they’ll fly to Baltimore for two joint practices with the Ravens on Monday and Tuesday before taking on the Ravens a week from today.
Injuries
The close call yesterday was EDGE Matt Longacre. Hopefully he’ll be back out there at full speed today.
Otherwise, it’s the same threesome unavailable:
Physically Unable To Perform (PUP) List – Active
Did Not Report (DNR) List – Reserve
But after a day off yesterday, things should be in good shape on this front. No word on Easley or Okoronkwo’s timeline as of right now.
Offense
At some point, the practices are going to have to get a little bit more physical to get these guys ready. Next Thursday is game action which means guys fighting for their professional lives which means…yeah. It’s on.
Defense
Linebacker personnel rotation will be key.
Just one more practice in LA after today before heading to Baltimore. Time to turn up…
