Baron Browning told Ohio State coach Urban Mayer that he was going to Alabama. In retaliation, Meyer said he was leaving for the Rams gig.
Browning didn’t tell Meyer for a few days that Ohio Ste was actually his pick. So to get him back, Meyer and Browning’s mother arranged a phone call to break fake news.
“I think this was right when the Rams had fired Jeff Fisher and he’s like, ‘Hey what’s up Baron. I just wanted you to know that the L.A. Rams offered me their job and I’m going to take it.’”
Meyer, obviously, didn’t even take an interview for the Los Angeles coaching vacancy.
But Browning certainly believed Meyer when he eventually pranked him back.
