The Los Angeles Rams have made probably the easiest decision they’ll have to make in the year exercising fifth-year options on RB Todd Gurley and newly acquired CB Marcus Peters:
The #Rams have picked up fifth-year options for a couple of no-brainers: RB Todd Gurley and their new CB Marcus Peters, sources say. In the fold for 2019.

Here are the prices for both options:
Confirmed…Gurley would come in at $9.63 million and Peters at $9.069 million for 2019. They still can work out new deals. https://t.co/yg8IQxnhBb

Obviously this was a no brainer for the Rams. Both Gurley and Peters were picked in the 2015 NFL Draft. Both are two-time pro bowlers. Also, Gurley won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, meanwhile Peters won the Defensive Rookie of the year award.
Gurley is coming off one of the most dominant seasons in recent memory for an RB with a combined 2,093 yards and 19 touchdowns in only 15 games. He was the 10th overall pick in the draft.
Peters is the games premier ballhawk at CB with 19 interceptions and six forced fumbles in only three years. Peters was the 18th overall pick in the draft.
Now, onto long term extensions…
