Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals: Initial injury report lists RB Todd Gurley as non-participant despite not … – Turf Show Times

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody’s around to hear it, does it make a noise? What if there’s no forest?

The Los Angeles Rams cancelled practice today coming off of Monday night’s season-opening win over the Oakland Raiders in Week 1 with the Arizona Cardinals coming to LA on Sunday in Week 2. And yet somehow despite not having a practice, RB Todd Gurley was a non-participant. In a non-practice.

Huh.

In the end, it’s a benign issue.

As for Thomas, Rams Head Coach Sean McVay mentioned Thomas tweaked his groin in his remarks yesterday. He’s listed with a hip injury, but we’ll see how things progress and get an update from McVay on Friday.

As for Arizona, they’ve got a TON more to worry about:

There’s a ton there to track over the rest of the week with RB David Johnson, DT Robert Nkemdiche, DE Markus Golden, S Budda Baker and OT Andre Smith all worth keeping eyes on.

The Rams are scheduled to hold practice tomorrow, and we should get a better sense of things from the intermediate injury report.
