If you’re wondering on the outlook of Los Angeles Rams’ cornerback Aqib Talib, here’s an update:
In a very crappy situation, the Rams had both starting CB’s go down in a blink of an eye when Marcus Peters and Talib both left the game in week three vs the Los Angeles Chargers. Initially looking like Peters suffered the worse injury and Talib’s being minor, it turned out to be the complete opposite. Peters actually didn’t even miss a game as he played in a short week on Thursday Night Football versus the Minnesota Vikings.
As for Talib, well, he was placed on injured reserve meaning he’ll miss at minimum eight weeks before he can be activated.
Talib underwent successful surgery on Thursday, and the outcome was positive as everything checked out as hoped by the Rams’ staff ensuring that Talib could make a late-season return.
As for the time being, Sam Shields will likely continue to slide into the starting lineup across from Peters and nickel CB Nickell Robey-Coleman.
