The good news here for the Rams is that wide receivers Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp appear to be on the right track. NFL rules dictate that players in concussion protocol must participate in limited (non-contact) fashion without any recurrence of signs/symptoms before returning to practice in full. Cooks and Kupp both participated in individual drills today, per Rams’ team insider Myles Simmons. Assuming there are no setbacks, they should be able to practice in full tomorrow and could then be cleared to play for Sunday.

Some more good news is that kicker Greg Zuerlein returned to practice on a limited basis. He remains week-to-week, so it’s likely Cairo Santos will get his second start for the Rams’ in what projects to be a snowy day (currently with an estimated high of 27 degrees) at Mile High.
