The Rams received the perfect holiday gift on Sunday. They put the hurt on Arizona with a sharp 31-9 victory. It’s been a while since the Rams tasted defeat at the hands of Arizona, who lost their last contest as well.
The Rams’ offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. Arizona countered with 9 points, leaving the score at 21-9 going into the half. The other side of the ball continued to do well for the Rams in the second half and held Arizona to 0 points.
C.J. Anderson was the offensive standout of the match for the Rams, as he rushed for 167 yards and 1 touchdown on 20 carries. Those with Anderson in their fantasy lineup got a major boost from his 22 points. The Rams also got a nice defensive effort from Aaron Donald, who took down the quarterback three times.
The win improved the Rams’ record to 12-3. Arizona are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
The Rams will be playing at home against San Francisco at 4:25 p.m. next week. As for Arizona, they will face off against Seattle.
