Look: Rams' Inglewood stadium has come a long way since this time last year – Rams Wire

The Los Angeles Rams are just over a year away from moving into their future home in Inglewood as the massive new stadium is set to open in 2020. Until then, they’ll be playing their home games at the Coliseum, which is getting its own renovation.

In the past year, the Inglewood stadium has come a long way. In February 2018, you could begin to see the venue taking shape, but it looked far different than it does now. Here are a few photos from January and February of last year.

This video tour from February last year shows it even closer up, too.

You could tell it was eventually going to be a stadium of some sort, but the full border was not yet complete. Now, it’s easy to tell what the monstrosity is going to look like.

The Rams shared new photos of the Inglewood construction site Wednesday, showing it from several angles on the team’s website.

The roof obviously hasn’t been installed yet, but the framing around the outside is really coming together. In late-January, it was announced that the stadium was 60 percent completed. It was 40 percent completed last June and is expected to be 100 percent finished next June.
