In a little over a year, the future home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers will officially open. The new L.A. Stadium at Hollywood Park in Inglewood is currently under construction and is set to open its doors next summer.
Great progress has been made over the last year or so, including the completion of the outer roof truss. The final piece of the canopy shell was put in place recently, marking a milestone in the stadium’s development.
On Monday, members of the media were given a look inside the walls of the venue. J.B. Long and Arash Markazi shared photos and video from inside the stadium, showing just how quickly it’s being built.
The lower bowl has really taken shape and it’s easy to picture a game being played there in the not-so-distant future. The view from the upper level is pretty spectacular, too.
As much progress as they’ve made on the stadium, there’s still plenty of work to be done. The entire roof has to be installed, as do all the seats and suites. However, after seeing what the massive venue looked like last year, it’s amazing to see the Rams’ future home taking shape.
