The Los Angeles Rams made a minor roster move on Tuesday, waiving offensive tackle Kyle Murphy with a non-football injury designation.
Murphy ended the 2018 season on the Rams’ practice squad after signing with them in late December. They gave him a futures contract in February, but his stay in L.A. didn’t last very long.
Murphy entered the NFL with the Packers as a sixth-round pick in 2016. He started three games in 2017 and suited up for three others in 2016, but he’s primarily been a reserve player in the NFL.
