Hill to meet with NFL investigators this week – NFL.com

Tyreek Hill is expected to meet with NFL investigators in Kansas City on Wednesday regarding recent child abuse allegations against the Chiefs wide receiver, sources told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

WHB-AM in Kansas City first reported the news.

The Johnson County (Kansas) District Attorney’s Office announced earlier this month that the criminal investigation into Hill stemming from a child abuse probe is no longer active.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in May that the league would wait until the conclusion of law enforcement investigations before weighing in on the matter. Hill’s case with the Kansas Department for Children and Families remains ongoing.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported ahead of Kansas City’s minicamp earlier this month that Hill could rejoin the club before training camp begins on July 26.

“Barring any further developments, there is every reason to believe that Tyreek Hill will be back with the Chiefs before training camp begins late next month,” Pelissero said at the time.

Hill has been banned by the Chiefs from team activities since April 26 when audio was released by KCTV5 of Hill and his fiancée discussing injuries suffered by their son.

Hill remains subject to a suspension under the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
