It appears Aaron Rodgers will have a full arsenal of weapons in his mission to take down the high-powered Falcons on Sunday.
After missing last week’s win against the Cowboys, Jordy Nelson will play fractured ribs, the team confirmed Fellow wideouts Davante Adams (ankle) and Geronimo Allison (hamstring), both who Packers coach Mike McCarthy called game-time decisions, are also active.
Nelson told NFL Network’s Stacey Dales last week he was experiencing “a pain no one wants to feel” with his painful rib injury. He will be heavily protected Sunday, however, in his return.
Rodgers’ favorite target ordered military-grade kevlar padding from Unequal Technology, sources informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Nelson had nine catches for 94 yards and a score earlier this season against the Falcons, and this time doesn’t have to worry about lining up against shutdown corner Desmond Trufant.
On the defensive side of the ball for the Packers, safety Morgan Burnett (thigh) is also active.
Here are the other injuries we are tracking on Sunday:
1. Steelers linebacker James Harrison (shoulder, triceps) is good to go Sunday against the Patriots, while tight end Ladarius Green (concussion, illness) is not expected to play.
2. Patriots wideout Malcolm Mitchell (knee) is expected to play.
