GRADE: B-

The one area heading into the draft the Rams knew they were safe for the upcoming season was the offensive line where the team is returning all five starters from last season. That said, drafting Noteboom provides them with a competent replacement that can play multiple positions across the line and displays the Rams are looking at the next wave. At TCU, Noteboom played both right and left tackle, but spent the past two seasons on the left side. This versatility is what general manager Les Snead pointed to as a main reason Noteboom will have a chance to compete for time as a rookie. Standing at 6-foot-5, 309 lbs, Noteboom has a lot of strength and can win in both the run and pass game, but the Rams could have used this pick to secure a bigger need.
