LA Rams Cooper Kupp cleared to participate in training camp – Turf Show Times

Steve Wyche of the NFL Network has reported that Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp will not be on the PUP list and will be available for full participation when training camp starts this weekend:

Players on the preseason PUP list do not count against their team’s 90-man roster. Many teams use the preseason PUP for seasoned players who benefit less from camp than young, inexperienced players that the team can add with the roster exemption afforded via the PUP. That Kupp isn’t being placed on it means the Rams have confidence in his early participation in camp.

One of quarterback Jared Goff’s favorite targets, Kupp has been sidelined since he suffered a torn ACL in Week 10 last season. Head Coach Sean McVay has been hoping to have have Kupp back at 100% for the Rams Week 1 opener against the Carolina Panthers, and things seem to be progressing in that direction.

Thankfully things are looking good for the Rams’ slot rocket Cooper Kupp as camp opens up this Saturday.
