The Los Angeles Rams have received some good news as CB Aqib Talib is set to return to the field in week 13 after being placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury:
Rams CB Aqib Talib, on NFL Network just now: “I had a great visit with the doctor today. It looks like the week after Thanksgiving, I’ll be full speed, ready to go.” Rams have a bye in Week 12, then play the Lions Dec. 2, three games from now. They sure could use him.

Talib dropped by NFL Network’s studio today to discuss his rehab and other topics.
The reinforcements on defense are needed as the cornerback play (and in general the play of the entire defense) has been subpar. Nickell Robey-Coleman is the top dog though he doesn’t play in base situations, which leaves the defense with struggling CB Marcus Peters and rotating backups in Troy Hill and Sam Shields.
Talib’s return will be welcome as he had a Pro Football Focus ranking of 77.7 grading in the “good” category.
This season will also be large for Talib as his contract no longer contains any guaranteed money making it possible for the Rams to escape the contract at any point in time. Now, the Rams really shouldn’t be looking to move on as Talib will likely be the best cornerback on the team.
The Rams play the Detroit Lions in week 13.
