The Los Angeles Rams have extended RT Rob Havenstein for four years, keeping him in LA through the 2022 season. The deal is reportedly worth $32.5 million.

Havenstein has started in all 43 games he’s played since entering the league out of Wisconsin in 2015. He was slated to become a free agent next March.
At first blush, solid extension along a unit that could change dramatically heading into 2019/2020. Havenstein’s rated as PFF’s #33 tackle, landing him squarely in the “average” category. I don’t think you’ll find many who disagree with that designation, but his durability and relative consistency have been plus attributes during his tenure with the Rams.
Yes, DT Aaron Donald remains unsigned, but unlike the Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks mega-deals which many have presumed would have an impact on Donald’s extension, this one feels like good housekeeping and maintaining some continuity along the offensive line.
