Rams have dominated Cardinals under coach Sean McVay – Cards Wire

It wasn’t that long ago that former Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians poked fun at the then-St. Louis Rams and coach Jeff Fisher. While the Rams did get a couple of surprising wins, the Cardinals won five of the final seven matchups with the Rams with Fisher as coach, and those included four blowout wins — 30-10, 31-14, 27-3 and 44-6.

Since Sean McVay took over as Rams coach last year, things have changed. The Cardinals are 0-3 against the Rams, and the games have been ugly. They have lost 33-0, 32-16 and now 34-0 after Sunday’s game in L.A.

That makes for a 99-16 advantage in three games.

The Rams have gone from the cute, competitive cellar dwellers to the class of the division and one of the best teams in the league.

The problem is, the Cardinals aren’t even competitive. Losing on the road to a team expected to compete for a Super Bowl is expected. Looking awful is not, and the Cardinals have looked completely awful in their three games facing McVay.
