Rams' newly released 2019 NFL draft hats incorporate L.A. city flag – Rams Wire

The 2019 NFL draft kicks off in just over three weeks. Leading up to the event, New Era released its annual on-stage hats for every team. They’re the hats prospects in attendance will wear when their names are called in Nashville, Tenn.

Last year, the NFL put team-related slogans across the front, like “Mob Squad” for the Rams. This year, New Era and the NFL incorporated each team’s city or state flag into the hat. Some work, but many others do not.

The Rams’ hat takes elements from the Los Angeles flag and it’s certainly not one of the worst hats available.

The inside of the cap features the Los Angeles flag, while the back also has the NFL’s “100” logo to celebrate its 100th season.

And here’s another version of the cap, which features the colors of the city flag.

The hats are available on NFLShop.com, ranging from $31.99 to $37.99, depending on the style. No prospect walked across the stage wearing the Rams’ draft hat the last two years as they haven’t picked in the first round since 2016, but this year could change that.

The Rams currently hold the 31st overall pick in the first round.
