Well, this sucks.
This news is not 100% confirmed yet, but it looks like legendary Los Angeles Rams (and St. Louis Rams) WR Isaac Bruce has once again missed out on joining the most elite of the elite in the Pro Football Hall of Fame:
The disrespect for the man known as Reverend Ike continues to grow as Bruce is once again snubbed for the elusive award he so deserves.
Bruce amassed 1,024 receptions for 15,208 yards and 91 receiving touchdowns across 16 NFL seasons. Bruce was also a Super Bowl champion, a four time pro bowler, a second-team All-Pro, the NFL receiving yards leader in 1996, and one of the most potent weapons on the greatest offense the NFL has ever witnessed — the Greatest Show on Turf.
The logjam of WR’s in the Hall of Fame race just cleared up with Terrell Owens and Randy Moss both getting in last year, but once again, Reverend Ike has been skipped over it seems.
