Turf Show Radio S10E4: A calm free agency entrance – Turf Show Times

(Apple News readers will need to head to the show page to listen to the episode; you can find the show in iTunes too)

This week Joe (@3k_) and I (@MightyOrMisone) recap free agency so far and discuss every one move the Los Angeles Rams have made so far since the 2017 NFL season ended.

With free agency in full throttle, the Rams, who are in dire need of depth all over though especially at edge rushers, have yet to make much of a move of any kinds outside of re-signing key contributors CJohn Sullivan and CB Nickell Robey-Coleman plus a few key tenders like CB Troy Hill and DE/OLB Matt Longacre. However, it’s never too late to make a splash. Can the Rams lock up DTNdamukong Suh and form the scariest defensive line in the NFL?

We also discuss, how signing Suh can pose a challenge inside Rams HQ as well and why not making a splash should be viewed as a good thing. Plus, find out where former Rams are headed as CB Trumaine Johnson and WR Sammy Watkins move on and how they’re being replaced.

Also, are the Rams done making trades until the draft? And why, oh, why did WR Tavon Austinagree to the restructure that he did? Joe and I discuss if he made the right decision to stay, or if he would have been better off leaving to try his luck in a different offense.

All this and more on this week’s show.
