Turf Show Radio S9E15: Benjamin Allbright Joins The Show And Talks Rams Super Bowl – Turf Show Times

(Apple News readers will need to head to the show page to listen to the episode; you can also find the show on iTunes as well)

This week Joe (@3k_) and I (@MightyOrMisone) are joined by Mile High Sports 1340 & 104.7 FM Co-host Ben Allbright (@AllbrightNFL).

We start off with a quick recap of the big win in London for the Los Angeles Rams over the Arizona Cardinals. We discussed the Rams’ consistency within games as well their inconsistency from game to game and how well the defense has played since the second half of the Dallas game in Week 4.

From there, Ben drops some serious knowledge on all things Rams. Everything from who’s in charge, how the Rams are viewed around the league, favorites in the NFC, and even goes into detail about sports media in general.

But the best quote of the night? Allbright puts “the Rams” and “Super Bowl” in the same sentence…yeah. Ben says he views the Los Angeles Rams as a Super Bowl team, and to just think playoffs at this point would be aiming too low.

You know what? I agree…

As it stands now, the Rams are third in the NFC and have the highest scoring average in the NFL with a league leading four games of more than 30 points scored. Per Ben this team has all the makings of a Super Bowl team.

Who the hell saw that coming?

Next, we discuss things that need to be addressed during the bye week; such as better management of timeouts, getting QB Jared Goff off to faster starts, and fixing the turnover problems.

From there we answer quite a few listener questions and you guys delivered some good ones. From the Sammy Watkins trade and how it’s paying off (or not) to why TE Gerald Everett has suddenly disappeared.

Also, Ben does his own hair.

A great show to lead us into the bye week. We can’t thank Ben enough as it’s always a pleasure and a show full of great info when he’s around. Definitely a great way to kick off the bye week.

Enjoy!!!
