The Los Angeles Rams sound like they escaped their week two duel with the Arizona Cardinals relatively unscathed outside of kicker Greg Zuerlein. It sounds like Young GZ pulled his groin towards the end of pre-game warmups and obviously missed the game.
The Rams have re-signed Sam Ficken who was with the team last season when Zuerlein went down with a back injury:
More kicker news: #Rams are expected to sign Sam Ficken, sources say. Bringing him back to once again fill in for Greg Zuerlein. Unclear at this point how long Zuerlein will be out.

Ficken went 2-for-3 on field goal attempts last season while going 2-for-2 in the preseason this year as he was back with the Rams. Though the severity of GZ’s injury is unknown yet, it seems like Ficken will at the very minimum be expected to kick in week three and potentially even beyond.
The injury really stinks for Zuerlein as he was off to another great start on the season going 4-of-5 in week one with three extra points.
Stay tuned for an update when we get one.
UPDATE:
The corresponding move was placing WR Mike Thomas on the injured reserve list:
Update #2:
