What to Know if You're a Football Fan Aching to Watch the LA Rams Practice – NBC Southern California


Calling all LA Rams fans! If you’re a football fan and can’t wait until the games get going, training camp kicks off at the end of the month, and it’s totally free to watch. 

The first practice of the Los Angeles Rams training camp kicks off Saturday, July 27, at UCI Irvine. While the events are free, interested fans must register for tickets here. The practice will begin at 4 p.m. with gates opening at 2 p.m.

Saturday’s “Kick Off” practice is one of seven camps open to the public. Fans can expect a fan activation zone, which will open two hours before practice and a kid zone with inflatables with face painting, a 50-yard football field and more.

“Kick Off” practice activities include an entertainment stage, remarks from general manager Les Snead and chief operating officer Kevin Demoff, cheerleader performances, interviews, opportunities to take pictures and get autographs from defensive linemen.

There will also be virtual reality showcase of the Inglewood stadium where the Rams will play in 2020.

The training camp runs through Sunday, Aug. 4. Practices through July 30 are set to begin at 4 p.m. The Aug. 2 to 4 sessions start at 2 p.m.

Celebrates Latino culture of the Los Angeles area

There will be performances by the Peruvian-inspired band La Chamba and Rams cheerleaders. Coach Sean McVay will also speak to fans.

Fans will receive a Rams knit scarf giveaway while supplies last.

July 29: Legends Reunion Day

Crawford Field at UCI Irvine

There will be an on-stage panel with Rams legends.

Fans get a rams legends poster while supplies last.

July 30: Youth Sports Day

Crawford Field at UCI Irvine

Honors outstanding student-athletes in the community.

Fans will receive an athletic sleeve while supplies last.

Aug. 1: Joint Practice

Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa

10 a.m.

Register for tickets with the Los Angeles Chargers.

This will be a joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers

Aug. 2: Everyday Heroes

Crawford Field at UCI Irvine

Honors Military Members, First Responders and their Families.

There will be a meet and greet with service dog Cooper Pupp.

Fans will receive challenge coins while supplies last.

Aug. 3: Joint Practice and Family Day

Crawford Field at UCI Irvine

This will be a joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers.

There will be a barber providing Ram cuts.

Fans will receive shoelaces while supplies last.

Aug. 4: Finale

Crawford Field at UCI Irvine

Fans can get autographs from the full roster.

Fans get a game schedule magnet while supplies last.

Parking is available in the Mesa Parking Structure for $13 in advance. Parking purchased in-person on the day of practice is $16.
